The cotton canvas is soft right out of the box, no breaking in needed, and the V-cut opening keeps my feet from feeling pinched. I usually wear a 38 and the 38 fits exactly, so the sizing advice is spot on. The ankle tie stays put all day too.

The wedge heel gives me just enough lift without killing my feet after a full day of walking, and the ankle tie actually stays put instead of slipping loose. Went with my usual size and it fit perfectly.

The V-cut and ankle tie give these a surprisingly dressy look for espadrilles - I've already worn them to two summer weddings. They fit true to size out of the box, and the wedge height feels steady even after a few hours on my feet.
