I was a bit nervous about ordering a half size up, but the fit is perfect and the mocassin-style toe gives them a dressier look than most alpargatas. The natural rafia has a nice texture, and the yute sole feels sturdy right out of the box.

The moccasin-style toe gives these alpargatas a dressier look than most flats I've tried, and the jute sole is holding up nicely after a few wears. They do run small as noted, so going up a size was the right call.

The raffia weave looks even better in person and the mocassin-style stitching gives it a polished feel. I sized up like the listing suggested and the fit is perfect for walking all day.
