I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the cotton canvas upper feels right out of the box—no breaking in needed. The wedge heel gives just the right amount of height without being unstable, and the ankle ties adjust easily for a secure fit. Exactly what I wanted for casual summer days.

The ankle ribbons actually stay tied all day, which I wasn't expecting from this style. Canvas is soft right out of the box, no break-in blisters. True to size too, my usual 38 fits perfectly.

The wedge gives me just enough lift without killing my feet on a long walk. I was worried the ankle ties would slip, but they stayed put all afternoon.
