The braided heel detail gives these a little extra something compared to plain espadrilles I've owned. I wore them all day at a street fair and the cotton canvas never rubbed, plus the wedge height is just right for walking.

The braided heel detail on these is what sold me, it adds a nice texture without being fussy. I wore them all day at a wedding and the ankle strap with the buckle stayed comfortable the whole time. True to my usual size, no breaking in needed.

The ankle strap buckle is a nice touch, though I wish it were a tiny bit more adjustable. The cotton canvas feels sturdy and the wedge height is just right for daily wear.
